Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Happy Friday! I love Fridays and am extra excited today because I just won a $150 Reebok gift card from Workout Mommy

Crazy, right? I enter sooo many blog giveaways and have never won anything before! Because I wanted to make sure I took complete advantage of this awesome prize, it took me forever to figure out what to spend my prize on. But I finally put on my big girl pants, made some decisions, and clicked purchase. Here's what I ended up with:

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner | Eat Hard Work Hard

These will be my first EVER pair of training shoes. I have always just worn my old volleyball shoes for any non-running cardio, which works ok since they are built for jumping and lateral movement. However, the fact that I always use a pair of shoes that are too old/worn out to wear on the court is probably a little less than ideal. I have read a lot of great reviews on these shoes (like this one from Carrots 'N' Cake). Even though I don't do CrossFit, I do a lot of CrossFit-like living room workouts, and am really excited by how cushy, supportive, and durable the Nano 3.0s are supposed to be. I also really like the bright yellow and blue color combo.

Ok so I MAY have chosen this mainly because it matches the shoes. But I also really love sports bras with molded foam cups to avoid any, umm, poking issues, and because they are much more comfortable than just squishing everything together. And I was intrigued by the foam underwire. And the pretty colors :)

Compression Short

Almost all of the shorts I wear for volleyball are now about a size too big, and many are also losing some stretch with age (aren't we all), resulting in some unflattering leg gaps and wrinkles. These look like they would be good for volleyball, especially because the Play Dry fabric that is supposed to wicks moisture, increase ventilation, and reduce chaffing. Plus, they were on sale!

After adding everything to my cart, my (pre-tax) total came out to $181.98. BUT then I googled Reebok coupon codes and found that I could get an extra 25% off everything except for CrossFit items with the code REEBOK25, bringing my grand total (with tax) down to $176.47. I was happy to pay the extra $26.47 over my gift card for what was in my cart.

I am not sure how long the above code is good for, but if it doesn't work you can also get 15% off and free shipping by clicking here and using the coupon code I got for sharing my purchase on twitter.

I'll write a full review of everything after I receive my order. Can't wait until it comes in!

Disclosure: I received this gift card from a Workout Mommy giveaway sponsored by Reebok. I am not affiliated with Reebok, was not compensated for this post, and if you buy something at Reebok I won't get any money for it. Reebok doesn't even know who I am. So if I sound overly excited, it's just because I never win anything :)
