December Recap and January Goals

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Even though I love the holidays, I'm really happy to finally have a nice relaxing weekend without any parties to attend or feasting to do.

I've already set my one word theme and a few goals for 2014, but that's no excuse for forgetting about my monthly goals. So, four days into the new month and new year, here's a wrap up of how I did on my November goals and what I'll be working on in January.

December Goals:

Try a new workout/fitness class
I did this, but didn't blog about it because I didn't take any pictures. So I guess it's a real word success, blogging fail.

Try a new running path
I ran to the beach!
Take clothes from cleaned out closet to Goodwill
I should get a double check for this one since I even cleaned out my closet again and took four whole bags of clothes to Goodwill.
Move living room furniture!
Annnnd this is somehow still not done. But I'm moving, so it's the bf's problem now :)

Clean out medicine cabinet/under-sink storage
Also slacked off on doing this. Seems like it should happen as part of the whole packing process.
Have lunch with a friend
Visit a friend I haven't seen in awhile
Call family/friends to chat
Post on the blog 4-5 times a week
I got closer to this than I thought with 15 posts in December, but I'd still like to post more often.

Try a new blog post format
I wrote a couple shorter, more reflective pieces, including this one on balance.

January Goals:

Successfully pack all my stuff and move cross country!
Stay active during my cross-country road trip
Try a new fitness class or meetup in my new city

My main goal for January is just to somehow complete my big cross country move.
